Use Google to quickly check airfare rates

Something interesting I just noticed while using Google, if you enter the names of any two cities (U.S. or international) into a Google search query, Google will give you the opportunity to check airfares from three travel websites (expedia, hotwire and orbitz).
Has anyone else noticed this? Quite odd though that such a useful tool isn't listed on the Google Search feature page.
